Effective October 21, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Echo Locate, operated by Matt Green as a sole proprietorship in California. By using echolocate.team or the Echo Locate web app, you agree to them.
Echo Locate lets teams chart pitches, view live game information, receive game alerts, and produce post-game reports and season stats. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Teams are set up by registration. Anyone with your team’s scorer passcode can add and change team data; anyone with the coach passcode can view it. Keep passcodes private, and change them if they’re shared too widely. You’re responsible for activity under your team’s passcodes.
Your team owns the data it enters. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service for you. By entering a player’s information, you confirm you’re authorized to do so by the team and, for minors, that it’s shared with the knowledge of the player’s parents or guardians. Don’t enter information you don’t have the right to share.
Don’t misuse Echo Locate: no accessing other teams’ data, interfering with the service, harassing anyone, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
Stats, scouting notes, drills, pitch-count alerts and availability are for information only. They depend on what scorers chart and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not medical advice and don’t replace your league’s rules, your coaches’ judgment, or a doctor. Always follow your league’s and tournament’s pitching rules.
Push and text alerts are optional and only sent to people who turn them on. Delivery depends on phones, carriers and networks, so alerts may be delayed or not arrive; don’t rely on them as your only pitch count. Text alerts are covered by our Text alert terms.
Program: Echo Locate Game Alerts. Coaches, team managers and scorers who opt in receive automated text alerts about their own team’s games: pitch-count updates (Pitch Smart rest-day levels and daily limits), a warning when a pitcher’s strike rate drops, and end-of-inning summaries.
How to opt in: in the Echo Locate app, enter your own mobile number, check the consent box (it is never pre-checked), and tap “Text me alerts.” You’ll get a confirmation text. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using Echo Locate.
Message frequency varies with your team’s schedule, usually 10–20 messages on a game day and none on other days. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop: reply STOP to any message, or tap “Stop texts” in the app. You’ll get one confirmation and no further texts. For help: reply HELP or email support@echolocate.team.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Text alert terms.
Prices and plans are shown on our pricing page. Paid plans renew until canceled, and you can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. We’ll give notice before changing the price of a plan you’re on.
Echo Locate is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you haven’t paid anything).
You can stop using Echo Locate at any time and ask us to delete your team’s data. We may suspend or end access for misuse, with notice where reasonable.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Orange County, California.
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use Echo Locate means you accept the update. Questions: support@echolocate.team.
